Taste of Music City is Nashville's biggest food and wine fair.
This delectable event is held each year at the Gateway Bridge. Gourmands' taste buds will water uncontrollably as they wander the fair sampling some of the city's best fare. All samples are included in the price of admission, so come on an empty stomach.
Some of Nashville's very best restaurants participate in the fair and it is great way to check out the city's culinary scene in one go: be sure to build a "must visit" list of restaurants around the city. Some of the more than 30 participating establishments include: Big River, Boscos, Commerce Street Grille, Corky's, Logan's Roadhouse, The Melting Pot, Rainforest Café, Fleming's, Cabot, Bonefish Grill, Hard Rock Café, Park Manor and many, many more.
While browsing the event and sampling food from the city's diverse range of restaurants and cuisines, wine, beer from local and national microbreweries, specialty tea, coffee, decadent cakes and desserts and, oh so much more, visitors are treated to live music performed by Nashville musicians. The Gateway Bridge also offers foodies a beautiful location to enjoy their tidbits.
Tickets to the event are available online in advance, for a discount, or at the event. Fifteen per cent of net ticket sales go towards supporting the Martha O'Brien Center charity for the disadvantaged. Scrumptious food, head wines, relaxing music and beautiful surrounds: could you ask for anything more? The Nashville Taste of Music City is an annual event held in June. Don't miss it.
